Blues Clip Coyotes In Shootout

(St. Louis, MO) -- Andy McDonald scored the lone goal of the shootout as the Blues clipped the Coyotes 2-1 at Scottrade Center.  David Perron scored in the first period for the Blues, who have won back-to-back shootouts and eight-of-10 overall. Brian Elliott made 33 saves plus stopped all three shootout attempts. Radim Vrbata scored with 1:07 left in regulation for Phoenix, which has dropped three in-a-row. Chad Johnson stopped 29 shots in the setback.

Blackhawks Battle Nashville

(Chicago, IL) -- The Chicago Blackhawks play the middle contest of a three-game homestand tonight when they host the Nashville Predators. The Blackhawks have won six straight games to move to 33-5-4 on the season. This is the fifth and final meeting between the two teams this regular season. Chicago has won the previous four.
