Blues Blank Wild For Sixth Straight Win

(St. Paul, MN) -- Brian Elliott recorded 23 saves to notch his third consecutive shutout and 21st of his career, as the Blues blanked the Wild 2-0 at Xcel Energy Center.  Elliott has not given up a goal in over 189 minutes.  He went more than 241 scoreless minutes last season to set the club record.  Roman Polak scored his first goal in over two years midway through the first period. Andy McDonald added a tally in the third for the Blues, who have won six straight. The Blues are at Columbus tonight.


Blackhawks Battle Detroit

(Chicago, IL) -- The Chicago Blackhawks host the Detroit Red Wings tonight at the United Center. The 'Hawks come in at 30-5-4 on the season while Detroit is 19-15-6.  This is the fourth and final matchup between the two sides this regular season. The Blackhawks have won the first three be a combined score of 11-3.
