Keller Ties for Top Spot in Indiana Disc Golf Tournament

Effingham's Ben Keller tied for top honors in the Maple Syrup Shootout Saturday in Rockville, Indiana.

Keller finished tied at -7 with James Heersema in the Recreational Division at the end of two 18-hole rounds. In a one-hole playoff, Heersema birdied, while Keller parred to give Heersema the win. 

Keller recorded 14 birdies in his two rounds.

Two other Effingham players competed in the Intermediate Division.

Hadley Majors finished third at -7, recording 11 birdies along the way.

Ben Ruholl finished seventh at +2, with nine birdies.
