Emery Helps Blackhawks Blank Flames

(Chicago, IL) -- Ray Emery made 16 saves to record his first shutout of the season as the Blackhawks defeated the visiting Flames, 2-0. Emery improved to 12-0 on the campaign. Nick Leddy and Brent Seabrook provided the scoring while Patrick Kane assisted on each goal. Chicago ended a two-game slide to move to 25-4-3. The 'Hawks welcome the Anaheim Ducks to town Friday night.


Blues Blanked By Oilers

(St. Louis, MO) -- Nikolai Khabibulin made 43 saves as the Oilers blanked the Blues last night, 3-0. Jake Allen gave up three goals on seven shots before being pulled early in the second period. Jaroslav Halak stopped all 12 shots he faced the rest of the way. The Blues have lost three-of-four. The Note hosts the LA Kings Thursday night.
