The Tokyo Olympics that were supposed to be played last summer were postponed to this summer because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Now, International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach and local organizers are pushing back against a ‘Times of London’ report that said the Olympics will be canceled amid the ongoing pandemic.

The Games are slated to begin on January 23. However, Senior International Olympic Committee member Richard Pound said earlier in the week that the Olympics may be held largely without fans.
