Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker had a sharp answer to reporter questions Tuesday about reopening all sports in the state.

On Twitter Tuesday, Michael O'Brien posted that when the governor was pressed on the issue, and one reporter mentioned that every other state in the Midwest is playing football, Pritzker responded, "Fine. If they have decided to endanger children in those states; that is their decision."

A reminder about our broadcast Friday at 7:07pm on 979XFM featuring three top officials of the Illinois High School Association. The issue of the return of high school sports to their usual times is expected to be discussed. The program will air the night before rallies scheduled Saturday in Chicago at 10am and at the State Capitol in Springfield at 1pm.
