Flora High School will be heading to the Black Diamond Conference in the 2021-22 school year.

The Wolves are now members of the Little Illini Conference but a unanimous vote at the Flora Community Unit School District #35 special meeting of the Board of Education last week was taken to exit that conference.

According to a report from WNOI Flora, the Black Diamond Conference has an East Division and a West Division. Teams in the East Division include Carmi-White County, Edwards County (Albion), Eldorado, Fairfield, Johnston City and McLeansboro-Hamilton County.

Teams in the Western Division include Christopher, Goreville, Sesser-Valier, Trico, Vienna and Ziegler-Royalton. Chester also is a part of that division but recently announced it will be joining the Cahokia Conference around the 2022-23 school year.
