Jay Bouwmeester of the St. Louis Blues remains hospitalized after collapsing on the bench during Tuesday’s game against the Anaheim Ducks because of a cardiac episode. However, the 36-year-old was alert and spoke with teammates. Blues general manager Doug Armstrong said at a news conference Wednesday, “He is doing very well and is currently undergoing a battery of tests. Things are looking very positive.”

Jeremy Roenick Won't Be Returning

NBC Sports hockey broadcaster Jeremy Roenick, who was suspended in December for sexual comments about his fellow broadcasters, won't be returning. He announced the news in a Twitter video Wednesday: “I’m very disappointed and angry today I will not be returning to NBC.” Roenick made the remarks about Kathryn Tappen and Patrick Sharp on the ‘Spittin’ Chiclets’ podcast, joking about having a threesome with Tappen and his wife, and calling Sharp “beautiful” and saying, “I’d have to think about it if he asked me."
