Blues' Tarasenko Will Be Out Five Months

The St. Louis Blues say Vladimir Tarasenko underwent shoulder surgery and will be out at least five months. In the best case scenario, Tarasenko could return at the end of the regular season.

 

Blue Jackets' Have Injuries

The Columbus Blue Jackets have put rookie forward Alexandre Texier and defenseman Ryan Murray on injured reserve. Texier is expected to miss two to four weeks with a knee injury, while Murray will be out for up to a month with a broken hand.

 

Red Wings' Acquire Perlini From Blackhawks

The Detroit Red Wings acquired forward Brendan Perlini from the Chicago Blackhawks for minor league defenseman Alec Regula. Perlini has been a healthy scratch for most of the season

 

NHL Suspends Adam Lowry

The NHL has suspended Winnipeg Jets forward Adam Lowry for two games for boarding Calgary Flames defenseman Oliver Kylington. Lowry is considered a repeat offender under the labor agreement will lose about $71,000 in salary.
