Blues Acquire Justin Faulk From Hurricanes

The St. Louis Blues have acquired All-Star defenseman Justin Faulk from the Carolina Hurricanes for defenseman Joel Edmundson and a prospect. The Blues also announced Faulk had signed a seven-year contract extension worth $45.5 million.

Leafs' Matthews In Court

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews will be in a Scottsdale, Arizona court today for a hearing stemming from a disorderly conduct incident in May. Matthews wasn’t arrested after he and several friends allegedly harassed a female guard at his apartment complex. The guard said the group appeared intoxicated and that Matthews pulled his pants down, bent over and grabbed his butt cheeks, although he still had his boxers on.
