Islanders, Brassard Agree To Contract

The New York Islanders have agreed to a one-year contract with veteran center Derick Brassard. Bassard divided his time last season between Pittsburgh, Florida and Colorado. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Senators Sign Colin White

The Ottawa Senators have signed forward Colin White to a six-year contract with an average annual value of $4.75 million. White had 14 goals and 27 assists in 71 games last year.

Will Hire Guerin As GM

The Minnesota Wild have hired Bill Guerin as their new general manager. Guerin won two Stanley Cups as a player and two more titles in the front office with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
