The Chicago Blackhawks have acquired defenseman Calvin de Haan and a minor leaguer from the Carolina Hurricanes. In return, the Canes get defenseman Gustav Forsling and goaltender Anton Forsberg.


Wild, Hunt Agree to Two-Year Contract

The Minnesota Wild and defenseman Brad Hunt have agreed to a two-year contract worth $1.4 million. Hunt came to the Wild last season in a midseason trade with Vegas.


Knights Sign Karlsson To Eight-Year Contract

As expected, the Vegas Golden Knights have announced that they’ve signed forward William Karlsson to an eight-year contract worth an average annual value of $5.9 million. Karlsson is the only player to have appeared in all 191 of the team’s regular and post-season games.


Flyers Acquire Pitlick

The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired center Tyler Pitlick from the Dallas Stars in exchange for forward Ryan Hartman.
