Kucherov Named NHL Most Valuable

At Wednesday night’s NHL Awards, the Tampa Bay Lightning’s Nikita Kucherov won the Hart Trophy as the league’s most valuable player, the Ted Lindsay Award as outstanding player and the Art Ross Trophy for being the leading scorer.

Meanwhile, Lightning teammate Andrei Vasilevskiy took home the Vezina Trophy as the NHL's top goalie.


Ducks Buy Out Perry's Final Two Seasons

The Anaheim Ducks have bought out the final two seasons of former NHL MVP Corey Perry’s contract. Perry had spent all 14 of his NHL seasons with the Ducks and was part of their 2007 Stanley Cup team.
