Mia Totten Takes Home Awards at the MYRA Winter Series

Mia Totten, first grade student at Altamont Grade School, has been competing this winter in the Midwest Youth Rodeo Association Winter Series in Cloverdale, Indiana.

There have been six rodeos in the series beginning in November and ending this past weekend.  Totten has competed in the 5-8 year old division for Texas 8 Barrels, Barrels, Pole Bending, Goat Untie, and Goat Tie.

At the awards banquet Totten was named Most Improved out of all age divisions and received an award for Top 5 in Barrels. Totten, the daughter of Ty and Mandy Totten, will begin competing in the Illinois Junior Rodeo Association in May.
