NHL Trades, Deals Before Deadline

The NHL trading deadline was Monday and the deals included the Golden Knights acquiring forward Mark Stone from Ottawa for forward Oscar Lindberg, a prospect and a 2020 second round pick. Vegas also signed Stone to an eight-year, $72 million extension.

Nashville acquired Wayne Simmonds from the Flyers for Ryan Hartman and a conditional 2020 pick. The Predators also picked up Mikael Granlund from Minnesota as his fiancee was giving birth, while Nashville sent forward Kevin Fiala to the Wild.

Columbus acquired goaltender Keith Kinkaid from the Devils for a fifth-round 2022 pick.The Blue Jackets also picked up defenseman Adam McQuaid from the Rangers for fourth and seventh-round picks. The Rangers also sent Kevin Hayes to Winnipeg for Brendan Lemieux, a first-round pick and a conditional fourth-round 2022 pick.

The Avalanche acquired center Derick Brassard from Florida for a third-round pick. Calgary acquired defenseman Oscar Fantenberg from L.A. for a pick…The Bruins got left wing Marcus Johansson from the Devils for a couple picks.
