Zuccarello Makes Debut, Injured

Newly acquired Dallas Stars winger Mats Zuccarello made his debut Sunday and recorded two points in their win over Chicago. However, he was later injured while blocking a shot and is expected to miss at least four weeks. The Stars also lost captain Jamie Benn to an upper-body injury in the game, although he’s listed as day-to-day.

Sharks Acquire Nyquist

The San Jose Sharks acquired forward Gustav Nyquist from the Detroit Red Wings for a pair of draft picks. Nyquist was the Red Wings’ second-leading scorer this season with 16 goals and 33 assists in 62 games.

Ducks Trade Montour

Today is the NHL trade deadline and the Anaheim Ducks traded defenseman Brandon Montour to the Buffalo Sabres for a first round pick and a prospect.
