Capitals Place Smith-Pelly On Waivers

The Washington Capitals have placed Devante Smith-Pelly on waivers ahead of next week's NHL trade deadline. Smith-Pelly scored seven goals for the Capitals in last year’s playoffs, but has just eight points in 54 games this season.


Wild Trade Coyle To Bruins

The Minnesota Wild traded forward Charlie Coyle to the Boston Bruins for forward Ryan Donato and a fifth-round pick.


NHL Suspends Flyers' Gudas

The NHL has suspended Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Radko Gudas for two games by for high-sticking Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov on Tuesday night. Gudas received the suspension because he was previously suspended over a 2017 slashing incident.
