Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price has opted out of the upcoming NHL All-Star game. Price joins Alex Ovechkin on the voluntary sideline and both will be suspended one game by the league.

The team says Price has had a nagging injury for some time and they want him healthy for the second half of the season.
