Golden Knights' Stastny Could Miss Two Months

The Vegas Golden Knights now say that center Paul Stastny could miss two months with a lower-body injury. Stastny was injured last week in Buffalo.


Penguins' Schultz Underwent Surgery

Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Justin Schultz has undergone surgery to repair a fracture of his lower left leg and is expected to be out four months. Schultz suffered the injury during the Penguins’ 4-3 shootout loss at Montreal on Saturday.


NHL Suspends Matheson

The NHL has suspended Florida Panthers defenseman Mike Matheson two games for an illegal hit on Canucks rookie Elias Pettersson during Sunday’s game. Pettersson had to be helped to the bench and has been sidelined for concussion protocol.
