The Vegas Golden Knights set yet another inaugural season record Tuesday night as they became the first expansion team in NHL history to sweep its first playoff series with their 1-0 win over the Los Angeles Kings.

Goaltender Marc-Andre Fluery allowed just three goals in the four games.

Flames Fire Head Coach

The Calgary Flames fired head coach Glen Gulutzan and his staff Tuesday. Gulutzan led the Flames to the playoffs in his first season in Calgary, but they missed the postseason this year.

Flyers' Giroux Questionable For Tonight

Philadelphia Flyers forward Claude Giroux is questionable for tonight’s playoff game against Pittsburgh after colliding with teammate Radko Gudas in Tuesday’s practice. Giroux had to be helped off the ice with an apparent right leg injury.

Wild's Parise Done For Season

Minnesota Wild left wing Zach Parise is apparently done for the season as he has a broken sternum. The injury will keep Parise out of the lineup for multiple weeks with the Wild trailing in their first-round playoff series against Winnipeg.
