Penguins Trying to Three-peat in NHL

The Pittsburgh Penguins and Vegas Golden Knights will be looking to make history when the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs begin Wednesday.

The Penguins, who are trying to become the first team to win three straight Stanley Cup championships since the New York Islanders from 1980-83, will host the Philadelphia Flyers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference First Round at PPG Paints Arena (6 p.m. CST; NBCSN, CBC, TVA Sports).

The Golden Knights, who are looking to win the Cup in their inaugural season, play their first playoff game against the Los Angeles Kings at T-Mobile Arena.
