Big Earl's Extreme Race

The first annual Big Earls Extreme Race was held on August 25 in Watson, with 106 participants.
The race consisted of a 3 mile run with 13 challenging obstacles. The obstacles included rope climbs, cargo net climb, mud pit, mud mound climbs, crawling thru tractor tires and a culvert, crawling in mud under barb wire, jumping over fire, carrying logs, rolling truck tires, jumping over large hay bales, and treading thru the Wabash River. There were eight waves every half hour from 9 am to 1 pm.
First Overall Male was Terry Meyer, Teutopolis with a time of 25:55 and First Overall Female was Kim Rhodes, Marshall with a time of 32:27.
