NHL Schedule Revealed, Blackhawks Open At Dallas, Blues Against Rangers

(New York, NY) -- The NHL has revealed the 2014-15 schedule. The Blackhawks start the season October 9 on the road against the Dallas Stars. The 'Hawks return home two days later to face the Buffalo Sabres. Chicago will also take part in the Winter Classic on January 1 against the Capitals in DC.

The Blues host the New York Rangers to begin their 2014-15 season. St. Louis will visit the reigning Stanley Cup Champions in game three to start off the first road trip of the season. The Blues close out the regular season with three-home games against Winnipeg, Chicago and Minnesota.


NHL Awards Handed Out Tuesday

(Las Vegas, NV) -- NHL players and coaches will be in Las Vegas Tuesday the annual awards banquet. Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith is a finalist for the Norris Trophy and NHL Foundation Player Award. Captain Jonathan Toews is up for the Selke Trophy and NHL Leadership Award.
