Wild Blow Away Blackhawks, Get On Board
(St. Paul, MN) -- The Wild scored four times in the third period on their way to a 4-0 rout of the Blackhawks in Game Three of the Western Conference semifinals from Xcel Energy Center. Mikael Granlund put two away, including a late empty-netter to seal Minnesota's victory. Erik Haula and Zach Parise also scored for the Wild, who still trail 2-1 in the best-of-seven set. Ilya Bryzgalov turned away all 19 shots he saw for the victory. Corey Crawford made 14 saves in goal for Chicago. The Wild will host Game Four on Friday.
Canadiens Double Up Bruins In Game Three
(Montreal, Quebec) -- P.K. Subban had a goal and assist to power the Canadiens in a 4-2 win over the Bruins in Game Three of the Eastern Conference semifinals from Bell Centre. Tomas Plekanec and Dale Weise also scored while Lars Eller added an empty-netter with three seconds to play. Carey Price stopped 26 shots for Montreal, which now has a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. Patrice Bergeron and Jarome Iginla scored for Boston while Tuukka Rask made 22 stops. The Canadiens will host Game Four on Thursday.
