Rangers Skate Past Flyers
(New York, NY) -- Three different players scored to back 30 saves from Henrik Lundqvist, as the Rangers skated past the Flyers 3-1 at Madison Square Garden. Derek Dorsett scored in the first period, Ryan McDonagh tallied in the second and Dominic Moore lit the lamp in the third for the Blueshirts, who have won five in-a-row. Jakub Voracek scored late in the third period to break up the shutout. Steve Mason stopped 26-of-29 shots for Philadelphia, which has lost two straight since a five-game winning streak.
Ducks Clip Flames In Calgary
(Calgary, Alberta) -- Andrew Cogliano scored the go-ahead goal with 5:19 left in regulation as the Ducks clipped the Flames 3-2 in Calgary. Mathieu Perreault tied the game with his tally 5:32 into the final period, while Nick Bonino lit the lamp in the first for Anaheim, which has won two in-a-row and four of its last six. Jonas Hiller stopped 32 of the 34 shots he faced in the victory. Brian McGrattan and Jiri Hudler both scored in the second period for the Flames, who had won their previous two. Karri Ramo surrendered all three goals on 34 shots in defeat.
Blackhawks Battle Bruins
(Boston, MA) -- The Chicago Blackhawks are on the road tonight in Boston taking on the Bruins. The Blackhawks improved to 42-16-15 with a win over the Stars on Tuesday. The Bruins are 49-17-6 after a loss to Montreal Monday. This is the second and final meeting of the regular season with the Blackhawks winning 3-2 in a shootout in January.
Blues Battle Wild
(St. Louis, MO) -- The St. Louis Blues battle the Minnesota Wild tonight at the Scottrade Center. The Blues are 49-16-and-7 and have already clinch a postseason berth. The Wild lost 5-2 last night to the Vancouver Canucks. Minnesota is 37-25-11. This is the fourth of five meetings this regular season. The Blues have won the previous three.
