2021 Relay for Life of Effingham County

Schedule of Events

5:00 PM: Opening Ceremonies 

·         Invocation – Patti Chapman, Crossroots Church

·         Nation Anthem – Jenna Kremer & Isabel Lee

·         God Bless America – Bailey Niccum

·         Presenting Colors – Effingham VFW Post #1769, Effingham American Legion Post #120, DAV Chapter 7

·         Survivor Speaker – Scott Repking

5:30 PM: Survivor Ceremony & Survivor Lap

·         Survivor & Caregiver Laps will start immediately after opening ceremony

·         A series of laps will be taken this year to honor social distancing and the safety of our guests.

6:30 P.M:  Entertainment by Brooke Rupel 

7:30 P.M:  Entertainment by Rabbit in Red 

8:00 PM:

·         Luminaria Sales End  

8:45 PM: Luminaria Ceremony

10:00 P.M:  Closing Ceremony

 

Also, our normal Silent Auction will be held online again this year to prevent a hub of people gathering in one place at the event.  The link is https://www.32auctions.com/effcorfl2021

We will have over 200 items and some of them are nice big ticket items like a freezer, autographed baseballs, cardinal tickets, Kitchen-aid mixer and much more! The auction will start July 7th at 8 am and will run through Wednesday, July 14th and end at 6 pm.  Winners can pick up their items on Friday, July 16th at Christ's Church on Veterans Drive from 5-8 pm.
