Women Invited to Discover the Possibilities and Regain Their Sense of Well-Being at Women’s Wellness Event on October 24

Plastic Surgery Procedures Topic of Annual Event conducted by HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital at Keller Convention Center

Ladies, when is the last time you indulged in an evening out for yourselves?  Call a friend and attend HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital’s Women’s Wellness Event on Thursday, October 24 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Keller Convention Center. 

The doors open at 4:30 p.m., with hors d’oeuvres and informational displays about St. Anthony’s Women’s Wellness Center services, cancer screening education and Oncology Wellness Program, among other displays.  Pamper yourselves with gift bags, door prizes and a presentation on a topic that matters to you.

At 6 p.m., Dr. Ruben Boyajian, medical director of St. Anthony’s Women’s Wellness and Cancer Care Services, will provide a welcome and introductions.  Dr. Kevin Calder, plastic and reconstructive surgeon, will give the feature presentation on the topic, “Discover the Possibilities & Regain Your Sense of Well-Being.” This year’s presentation will include information about plastic surgery procedures such as breast reconstruction, cleft palate repair, surgical correction of birth abnormalities and more. Learn about option that restore or repair structures of the body affected aesthetically or functionally by congenital defects, trauma, infection, tumors or disease.

Admission is free; however, pre-registration is required since seating is limited.  Registrations will be accepted until October 16.  To register, visit St. Anthony’s web site at stanthonyshospital.org/wwe or select the “Events and Classes” link, and search for “Women’s Wellness Event,” where you can register online.
