Tuscola Claims Wins Over St. A, Altamont Beats Windsor

TUSCOLA -- Tuscola claimed a win over Effingham St. Anthony's junior varsity boys and a varsity girls victory over the Bulldogs in golf action Thursday at the Ironhorse.

The Tuscola boys downed St. Anthony junior varsity 183-205. Tuscola's Gunner Campbell was the medalist with a 43. Leading St. Anthony was Gus Koester with a 49.

In girls action, Tuscola won 204-244. Tuscola's Tiffany Davis was medalist with a 50. St. Anthony was led by Abbie Schmidt with a 52.

At St. Elmo

Altamont handed Windsor a loss in competition Thursday at the St. Elmo Country Club Golf Course.

Griffin Jackson had a 40 to lead the way while Justin McGinnis chipped in with 42, Adam Mayhaus 49 and Cameron Jackman 49. Non-scorer was Logan Deadmond with a 49. The Indians improve to 3-5.

Scoring for Windsor were VanHyfte 61, Blackburn 63, Gilbert 66 and Boyer 66. Non-scorer was Curry with a 71. The Blue Devils drop to 1-9.
