T-town Beats Robinson In Golf, Charleston Downs EHS

Teutopolis High School improved to 17-4 on the season with a 171-181 boys golf win over Robinson at the Effingham Country Club Tuesday.

 

Robinson's Nathan Rich was medalist with a 38.

T-town's Adam Lustig and Ethan Thoele shot a 41 each while Brody Thoele had a 44 and Gabe Schlink a 45. Others competing were Kole Ohnesorge 47, Hayden Jansen 48, Kayden Zerrusen 49 and Dylan O'Brien 54.

Others competing for Robinson were Daniel Davis 47, Joe Quick 48, Walker Etherey 48, Mason Arnone 54 and Cody Waggoner 57.

The Wooden Shoes junior varsity will host Shelbyville and Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg varsity Thursday at Cardinal Golf Course.

 

At Effingham

Effingham  fell to Charleston at the Effingham Country Club by a 162-170 count Tuesday.

Charleston's Hudson Meister was medalist with a 35. Also scoring were Averie Kuykendall 41, Andrew Kuykendall 43 and Rhyland Brady 43. Non-counting score was Dylan Bell 51.

Scoring for the Hearts were Brody Boehm 38, David Splechter 43, Rayden Schneider 44 and Colby Haynes 45. Non-counters were Cannon Bockhorn 45 and Evan Pryor 50.

Exhibition was Blayne Pals 51 and Kaden Field 51.

 

At St. Elmo

North Clay/Clay City 's Riley Poe finished third at the St. Elmo Golf Club with a 42 while Jacob Arnold had a 61. Kennedy Jones finished second in the girls meet with a 56.
