Phil Zaccari Is ICA Golf Hall of Fame Inductee

Effingham St. Anthony High School golf coach Phil Zaccari has been named to the Illinois Coaches Association Golf Hall of Fame.

He is a Golf Hall of Fame Inductee -- 2021. Here are some of Coach Zaccari's accomplishments:

He has been the St. Anthony High School golf coach from 1999 to the present. Has a 297-47 overall varsity match record. His teams have won 38 invitationals. He has 18 IHSA regional titles and seven IHSA sectional titles. His teams have made 16 State Final appearances including winning the Class 1A state championship four times, two second place finishes and one third place finish.

He has been the manager of the regional and sectional as St. Anthony hosted in 2002, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2019.

He has been the University of Illinois golf camp staff instructor from 2003 to the present. He has managed the Pride of the North Side boys and girls golf camps from 2011 to 2017. He was the girls golf coach from 1999 to 2000.

He is a member of the Illinois Coaches Association and a UGA member.

He is married to wife Cathy with three children, Abigail, Anthony and Anna.

The Golf Hall of Fame is at Prairie Vista Golf Course in Bloomimgton.
