EHS Girls Second In Triangular, Boys Roundup

CHARLESTON -- Effingham High School finished second in a girls triangular golf meet at Bent Tree Golf Course Monday.

Charleston won the meet with 179 strokes followed by Effingham 205 and Sullivan 249.

Medalist was Charleston's Hannah Harpster with a 40. Also scoring for the Trojans were Stacey Zerbst 46, Madeline Sanders 46 and Taryn Pearson 47.

Scoring for the Hearts were Ava Boehm 41, Anna Sigg 50, Marah Kirk 56 and Ella Niebrugge 59.

At Charleston

Charleston (179) -- Hannah Harpster 40, Stacey Zerbst 46, Madeline Sanders 46, Taryn Pearson 47, Rileigh Babbs 49, Tesa Brown 53

Effingham (205) -- Ava Boehm 41, Anna Sigg 50, Marah Kirk 56, Ella Niebrugge 58, Anna Hirtzel 59, Annie Frost 64

At Effingham

Teutopolis competed with Windsor at the Effingham Country Club Monday. Windsor did not have enough members for a team score.

The Wooden Shoes tallied 218. Bennett Thompson was medalist with a 50. Also scoring for the Shoes were  Tyler Pruemer 52, Peyton Tegler 56 and Joey Niebrugge 60.

Windsor was led by Thomas Davis with a 65.
