Austin Luckett Memorial Golf Tournament Set

Effingham Catholic Charities is teeing up for its 21st Annual Austin Luckett Memorial "Virtual" Golf Tournament to be held Friday, August 21 and Friday, August 28. The annual golf outing, held at the Cardinal Golf Course, is a fundraising event for the Effingham-based charity.

The tournament is open to four-member teams or individual participants who may be paired with a team; handicaps will not be used. Cost is $80 per player and includes Greens Fees and Cart Rental. Mulligans are $10 each. Event sponsorships are $100 per sponsor. Or give a monetary donation.

Step 1 -- Register by mail or at www.cc.dio.org.

Step 2 -- Call Cardinal Golf Course (217-868-2860) to set up a tee time

Step 3 -- Play golf with your team and have a good time

Step 4 -- Turn your scorecards in at the club house.

Prizes will go to the top two teams.
