Mickelson Fires Personal Best

Phil Mickelson fired a personal best 12-under 60 in the first round of the Desert Classic Thursday to kick off his 27th full season as a pro. Mickelson leads Adam Long by three strokes.

Brooke Henderson and Eun-Hee Ji fired 6-under 66s to tie for the first round lead at the LPGA Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions in Florida. Stacy Lewis is one shot back after opening with seven birdies less than three months after she became a mother.
