Junior Varsity Golf Tourney -- Sept. 17

Charleston won the Effingham St. Anthony Junior Varsity Golf Invitational at Foreway Golf Course Monday.

The Trojans tallied 158 followed by St. Anthony 173, Teutopolis 184, Effingham 191, Mattoon 192, Okaw Valley 204 and Maroa-Forsyth 222.

Charleston took the top two spots. Pierson Smith was medalist with a 37 followed by teammate Josh Will with a 38. St. Anthony's Ryan Schultz was third with a 39 and Thomas Chojnicki fourth with 40. St. Anthony's Alex Erickson and Charleston's Ethan Dow rounded out the top five with a 41 each.
