Bulldogs Fourth at Catholic Schools Golf Tourney

ALTON -- Effingham St. Anthony High School competed in the Catholic Schools Boys Golf Tournament Saturday at The Woodlands in Alton.

Belleville Althoff won with 330 strokes followed by Alton Marquette 324, Breese Mater Dei 331, St. Anthony 340, Waterloo-Gibault 342 and Fr. McGiveny 458.

Marquette's Kolton Bauer took medalist honors with a 73. St. Anthony's  Luke Ludwig was third with a 38-41 -- 79. Dylan Ferguson took 12th at 42-43 -- 85.

Also scoring for the Bulldogs were Ben Strullmyer 46-41 -- 87 and Nathan Schultz 41-48 -- 89. Non-counting scores were Zach Wortman 41-49 -- 90 and Ethan Rozene 46-47 -- 93.
