T-town Seventh, St. Anthony JV Ninth at Olney Invite

OLNEY -- Teutopolis High School finished seventh and St. Anthony's junior varsity took ninth at the Olney Boys Golf Invitational Friday.

Winning was Mount Carmel with 319 followed by Fairfield 346, Flora 352, Paris 359, Robinson 363, Olney 379, Teutopolis 379, Lawrenceville 384, St. Anthony JV 385 and Oblong 472.

Scoring for the Wooden Shoes were Dylan Buenker 86, Will Schlink 94, Carter Jansen 97 and Jacob Herd 102. Non-counters were Michael Deters 107 and Asa Hanson 117.

Scoring for the Bulldogs were Ryan Schultz 46-46 -- 92, Luke Flaig 45-48 -- 93, Jayden Rios 41-55 -- 96 and Alex Erickson 50-54 -- 104. Non-counter was Darin Hutchison 63-59 -- 122.

Mount Carmel also won best ball with 67 followed by Fairfield 72, Flora 73, Paris 74, Lawrenceville 74, Teutopolis 76, Robinson 77, St. Anthony JV 79, Olney 79 and Oblong 95.

 

At Altamont

Altamont downed Ramsey 192-198 in action Friday.

Altamont's Grant Schmidt won medalist honors with a 44.  Also scoring were Noah Kopplin 47, Austin Wendling 50 and Harrison Fitzjarrald 51. Non-counters were Nathan HIll 52 and Addie Smith 54.

Scoring for Ramsey were Ransdell 47, Neisler 49, Gringoroff 51 and Ernst 51. Non-counters were Sneddon 56 and Lay 69.
