Altamont Nabs Golf Win, T-town Second, St. A JV Third at Olney

ALTAMONT -- Altamont High School handed Ramsey a 179-231 loss in boys golf action Friday.

Altamont's Dylan Miller was medalist with a 40. Also scoring were Grant Schmidt 41, Noah Kopplin 46 and Harrison Fitzjarrald 52. Non-counters were Austin Wendling 53 and Addie Smith 62.

Scoring for Ramsey were Marcus Coss 46, Mason Fesser 50, Hayden Seaton 67 and Dillon Whitten 68.

The girls competed but did not have enough for a team score. Altamont's Ashley Goeckner had a 68 and Violet Wendling a 72.

Ramsey golfers were Cecelia Ritter 62, Kourtney Jansen 62, Samantha Stoke 71 and Kianna Shouse 72.

 

At Olney

Teutopolis and St. Anthony junior varsity competed in the Olney Invitational.

In Team Stroke Play, Mount Carmel won with 330 followed by Teutopolis 342, St. Anthony JV 368, Lawrenceville 372, Flora 382, Olney 392, Oblong 407 and Fairfield 453.

Best Ball Results were Mount Carmel 66, Teutopolis 66, St. Anthony JV 74, Flora 78, Lawrenceville 78, Oblong 78, Olney 80 and Fairfield 87.

T-town's Christian Deters finished third with an 80. Wayine City's Nate Caudle was medalist with a 71.

Competing for Teutopolis were Deters, Dylan Buenker 85, Braydon Bushue 88, Keegan Meyer 89, Will Schlink 96 and Carter Jansen 104.

Competing for St. Anthony JV were Dylan Ferguson 84, Ethan Rozene 91, Luke Flaig 95, Ben Strullmyer 98, Jayden Rios 100 and Augie Heal 105.
