EHS Girls Golf Drops Match, St. A JV Boys Third

CHARLESTON -- Charleston High School captured a triangular girls golf match over Effingham and Champaign St. Thomas More Wednesday at the Charleston Country Club.

The Trojans tallied 169 followed by St. Thomas More 182 and Effingham 187. Charleston's Lauren Chappell was medalist with a 40.

Scoring for the Hearts were Alex Brummer 43, Keira Hirtzel 45, Abbi Burgess 49 and Jade Depoister 50.

At Charleston

Decatur St. Teresa claimed a boys triangular golf meet Wednesday with a 183 followed by Hartsburg-Emden 185 and St. Anthony Junior Varsity 193.

L.S.A.'s Mitch Cremer tallied a 34 to claim medalist honors.

Scoring for St. Anthony JV were Jayden Rios 46, Ethan Rozene 48, Luke Flaig 49 and Ben Strullmyer 50.
