Altamont Nabs Triangular Golf Meet

PANA -- Altamont High School picked up a triangular high school golf victory Tuesday at Oak Terrace Golf Course.

The Indians tallied a 166 followed by Pana 170 and Hillsboro 192. Scoring for Altamont were medalist Adam Mayhaus with a 36, Noah Kopplin with a 42, Grant Schmidt with a 43 and Cameron Jackman with a 46. Non-counting scores were Dylan Miller 49 and Logan Deadmond 50.

Scoring for Pana were Kody Bland with a 38, Blake Ade 41, Dylan Moon 44 and Jim LaMarche 47. Non-counting scores were Michael Hrabek 48 and Weber Jacobs 55.

Hillsboro was led by Tony Perfetti 42, Kaiden White 44, Evan Lynch 51 and Steven Weller 55. Non-counters were Damyan Edwar 56 and Zach Rhodes 66.

Altamont is now 4-1 on the season while Pana is 7-2 and Hillsboro 0-6.

 

At St. Anthony

The Bulldogs played host to Mattoon in junior varsity competition at Foreway Golf Course Tuesday. St. Anthony claimed a 156-194 win.

Medalist was St. Anthony's Trey Koester with a 35. Nathan Schultz tallied a 40, Ethan Rozene a 41 and Alex Erickson a 41. Non-counters were Dylan Ferguson 42, Augie Heal 44, Zach Worrtman 46 and Will Willenborg 48.

Scoring for Mattoon were Letner 47, Gess 48, Morrison 49 and Romine 50. Non-counting scores were Hyland 50 and Phipps 56.
