St. Anthony Captures Triangular At Pana

PANA -- St. Anthony High School took all 13 girls and traveled to Pana Thursday to play at Oak Terrace Golf Course in varsity and junior varsity action.

The varsity Bulldogs came away with a team score of 173 to beat Pana with 206 and Raymond-Lincolnwood with 224.

"This was the best team score the girls shot all year," said Coach Brad Rohlfing. "They were led by Miranda Rohlfing with a 42, Mariah Bushue with a 43, Madison Bushue with a 44 and Emiie Schultz with a 44."

Rohlfing and Pana's Hannah Miller were medalists for the event with a 42 each. Mariah Bushue took third, Schultz fourth and Madison Bushue fifth.

In junior varsity play, St. Anthony also captured the win, 227-238 over Pana. They were led by Maddie Schuette with a 52, Sara Ragland with a 57, Bailey Weishaar with a 58 and Kelsea Dust with a 60.

The Bulldogs are back in action Saturday in the Windsor Invitational at Angus Links Golf Course.
