EHS Finishes Second in Quadrangular

MOUNT ZION -- Mount Zion hosted four teams in a boys golf triangular Tuesday and picked up the victory.

The Braves tallied 153 followed by Effingham 156, Taylorville 177 and Shelbyville 193. Mount  Zion's Miller scored a par-36. Effingham's Jackson Wendling and Anthony Lechman scored 37s each.

Also scoring for the Hearts were Jake Linders 39 and Sean Sandifer 43.

Mount Zion improves to 9-1 while EHS is 7-2. Shelbyville stands at 15-9 and Taylorville is 9-7.
