St. Anthony Picks Up Four-Team Victory

DECATUR -- Effingham St. Anthony tallied 189 to outdistance Mount Zion 204, Effingham 231 and Paris 261 in a girls quadrangular golf match Tuesday at Scovill Golf Course.

Scoring for the Bulldogs were Miranda Rohlfing 43, Madison Bushue 46, Mariah Bushue 49 and Emmie Schultz 51.

Scoring for Effingham were Courtney White 48, Hope Collier 60, Morgan Wilson 61 and Delaney Hagenseiker 62.

Medalist for the meet was Mount Zion's Ashley Miller with a 42. St. Anthony took the next two spots then Effingham then St. Anthony again.

"Our girls played good enough to win on a very difficult and hilly golf course," said St. Anthony Coach Ben Scherzer. "It was a very hot and humid evening."
