Teutopolis improved its golf record to 1-1 with a 177-185 victory over Newton Tuesday at Cardinal Golf Course.

Medalist was Newton's Phil Blank and T-town's Ryan Sandschafer with a 43 each.

Scoring for the Wooden Shoes were Sandschafer 43, Ross Sheehan 44, Evan Schlink 45 and Chad Zerrusen 45.

Scoring for Newton were Blank 43, Elijah Knepper 45, Evan Brooks 50 and Brandon Bigard 50. Newton drops to 0-2.
