EHS Second in Olney Girls Golf Invitational

OLNEY -- Effingham High School captured second place in the Olney Girls Golf Invitational Wednesday.

The Hearts tallied 183 to take second place behind champion Mount Carmel with 162. Following the top two were Mattoon 184, Charleston 187, Salem 213 and Paris 260.

Charleston's Lauren Chappell was medalist with a 37. Effingham's Alex Brummer tallied a 39. Also scoring for the Hearts were Morgan Wilson 44, Hope Collier 45 and Kaylee Tonn 53. Non-counting scores were Madison Weis 55 and Camryn Heuerman 87.
