Koerner Memorial Sports Spectacular Golf Scramble Sept. 11

The 21st Annual Carl P. Koerner Memorial Sports Spectacular has been scheduled Thursday, September 11 at the Effingham Country Club.

The golf scramble will begin with lunch and registration at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Dinner and awards will begin at 6 p.m.

To enter, a five-person team costs $500, hole sponsor $100, individual golfer $100, non-golfer dinner only $20 and skins (per team) $25. Mulligans may be purchased, two maximum per person for $5 each.

Prizes awarded will be: first place gross, $500 cash; first place net, $500 cash; hole in one, win a car; million dollar shot, $1,000,000; 8th hole shootout, gift certificates; world team putting championships, $100 cash and wrong drive contest $500 cash. There also will be #6 longest drive, men and women, #2 closest to pin, #8 closest to pin, #12 closest to pin, #16 closest to pin and #17 longest putt.
