Pride of North Side Golf Camp Scheduled

The Pride of the North Side Beginning to Intermediate Golf Camp has been scheduled June 2-5 and June 16-19.

Session I is for girls in grades three through nine Monday, June 2 through Thursday, June 5 from 9 a.m. to noon. Session II will be for boys in grades three through nine Monday, June 16 through Thursday, June 19 from 9 a.m. to noon. Grades refer to the grade the camper will be in next school year. Applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

The camps will be held at Fore-Way Golf Course. Players need to have their own golf clubs and wear proper golf attire. The camp will emphasize beginning to intermediate golf instruction including sessions on the full swing, chipipng, and putting. There will also be sessions covering the rules of golf and proper golf etiquette.

Tuition is $55 per camper and this includes range balls for the week as well as green fees for the course. Throughout the week, there will be various competitions in putting and chipping as well as a camp tournament Thursday.

The camp personnel will consist of Coach Phil Zaccari, the Fore-Way Golf staff and current and possibly past St. Anthony High School players.

Water will be available for the golfers as well as the Fore-Way Golf Course Club House will have drinks and snacks for sale.

All campers will receive a T-shirt. There also will be drawings for door prizes.
