The young man with Teutopolis ties who competed at The Masters in Augusta, Georgia has ended his play in the tournament, but he finished well.

Jordon Niebrugge, whose parents Rod and Judy graduated from Teutopolis, competed in The Masters due to winning the US Public Links Championship.  He's also a past Wisconsin state champion.

Niebrugge played like a champion Friday, firing a two-over 74 to finish his tournament play at 11-over 155.  A tough Thursday when he shot nine-over 81 made it tough to make the cut, but the two-over round Friday was a nice bounceback.  Niebrugge's Friday round was one shot better than Phil Mickelson, who also failed to make the cut.

Niebrugge is playing college golf at Oklahoma State and was a member of the last US Walker Cup team.

Bubba Watson is the Masters leader after two rounds at seven-under.
