Team Rice Tops Team Sanders At Pro Bowl

(Honolulu, HI) -- Justin Tucker missed a 67-yard field goal attempt as time expired as Team Rice held on for a 22-21 win over Team Sanders at the Pro Bowl from Aloha Stadium in Honolulu.  DeMarco Murray caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Alex Smith and Team Rice went for two, connecting on Mike Tolbert's run for the conversion and the lead with 41 seconds to play. Smith finished with 116 yards passing while he and teammates Philip Rivers and Drew Brees combined to throw three TDs and four interceptions. Team Sanders' Nick Foles was named Offensive MVP after going 7-of-10 for 89 yards and a score. Derrick Johnson of Team Rice was named Defensive MVP after recording nine tackles.


Broncos, Seahawks Land In New Jersey

(Newark, NJ) -- The Denver Broncos are in New Jersey for Super Bowl 48. The Broncos landed at Newark Liberty International Airport around 4 p.m. local time Sunday. Denver defeated the New England Patriots last weekend to advance to its third Super Bowl. The Seattle Seahawks topped their NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers to move on to the Super Bowl for the second time. The AFC champion Broncos play the NFC champion Seahawks next Sunday at MetLife Stadium, home of the New York Giants and Jets.

The Seattle Seahawks are in New Jersey for Super Bowl 48. The Seahawks landed at Newark Liberty International Airport around 7:30 p.m. local time.  The Seahawks topped their NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers to move on to their second Super Bowl appearance. The Denver Broncos defeated the New England Patriots last weekend to advance to its third Super Bowl. The NFC champion Seahawks play the AFC champion Broncos next Sunday at MetLife Stadium, home of the New York Giants and Jets.
