Bears Add LB Coach

(Lake Forest, IL) -- The Chicago Bears are adding a new face to the sidelines. ESPN reports Reggie Herring is the new linebackers coach. He replaces the fired Tim Tibesar. Herring had been with the Houston Texans the last three season but was let go after the team hired Bill O'Brien as their new head coach.  Paul Pasqualoni will also be added as the new defensive line coach.


Pro Bowl Draft Recap

The first-ever Pro Bowl draft is in the books. Deion Sanders and Jerry Rice both took 30 players on Wednesday to fill out their rosters. Bears running back Matt Forte and wideouts Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery will be on Team Rice. Cornerback Tim Jennings and guard Kyle Long are on Team Sanders.


Long Has Surgery

(Mobile, AL) -- Rams starting left tackle Jake Long finally had surgery to fix the torn ACL he suffered on December 22. Long also had a torn MCL, but that wasn't operated on. He hopes to be ready for the beginning of next season.
