Wake Safety Crumbles Bengals

(Miami, FL) -- Cameron Wake's safety of Andy Dalton in overtime gave the Dolphins a 22-20 win over the Bengals at Sun Life Stadium. Wake finished the game with three sacks and two tackles for a loss. Caleb Sturgis kicked a 44-yard field goal with 11 seconds left in regulation to tie the game. Brent Grimes had a 94-yard interception return for a TD. Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill says it's great to get back in the win column.

Lamar Miller ran for 105 yards on 16 carries for Miami, which improved to 4-4. Andy Dalton's streak of good play came to an end as he tossed three picks. After trailing 17-3, Cincinnati took a 20-17 lead before blowing the game late. Giovani Bernard ran for two touchdowns and 79 yards on nine carries.  The Bengals dropped to 6-3.

 

Four Rams Return To Practice

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Rams got four players back on the practice field Thursday. Running back Zac Stacy, left tackle Jake Long, center Scott Wells and wide out Austin Pettis all fully participated. The Rams welcome in the Titans, head coach Jeff Fisher's old team, this Sunday.

 

Bears, Packers On "MNF"

(Green Bay, WI) -- The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers are in the national spotlight on "Monday Night Football."  The Bears will start Josh McCown at quarterback after Jay Cutler left a 45-41 loss to Washington two weeks ago with a groin injury. Chicago comes in at 4-3 while Green Bay is 5-2 and atop the NFC North.

 

Illini At Beaver Stadium

(University Park, PA) -- The Illinois Fighting Illini are on the road tomorrow at Beaver Stadium facing the Penn State Nittany Lions on ESPN.  Illinois is 3-4 after a 42-3 setback to Michigan State last weekend. The Illini are 0-3 in the Big Ten. Penn State is 4-3 with a 1-2 conference record.

 

Wildcats At Nebraska

(Lincoln, NE) -- The Northwestern Wildcats are at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln facing the Nebraska Cornhuskers Saturday afternoon on the Big Ten Network. The Wildcats are 4-and-4 but are winless in four Big Ten games. Nebraska on the other hand is 5-2 on the season with a 2-1 conference mark.
